Beyond the challenging craft at the time, we had to overcome a demanding project schedule, an extremely demanding unschooled Owner, a too-often-absent Project Architect, and inordinate material failures. We smoothed out these wrinkles and soldiered through. When we finished the project, everyone was happy. We were, as always, proud of our work and glad the project was completed on time.
Sometimes the hardest part of a project is not the craft, but the environment it’s executed in. This was one of those times.
