We take immense pride in our work. And we measure our success not just by meeting requirements, but by consistently redefining what our clients believe is possible. Let us show you how we work.

Markets We Serve

from commodity products to historical masterpieces

From the code & worksite demands of healthcare to the requirements of historic of century-old churches, to the obligation to execute a designer’s vision in the way that they expect and deserve, Faustrollean has spent fifty years earning trust across a wide range of industries. We work where the designs are challenging, the standards are high, the details matter, and the schedules can be short.

We Do the Work

Lest you think all we do is tackle big complex designs, with outstanding results…we also produce miles of commodity casework, bundled with doors and frames and workstations etc. You can get these things from a number of companies, but what makes Faustrollean unique is that we can cover the entire range of the architectural interior needs, without dropping the ball. We plan well, produce well, and when we arrive at the site, it better be ready because we rock right thru the installation.

We Get It Done

Architectural Woodworking is not about designing. That’s the architect’s job. Our job is to execute the design without wandering off into our own world. If something is not clear, we ask for clarification, we don’t assume the answer. Our job is to engineer, manufacture, and install the items in our division, exactly the way the architect designed them—on time, without excuses, and with a smile.
The work is demanding and can become intensely schedule-driven. So it’s not for the uninformed, faint of heart, or too new to the game.

Faustrollean has survived and thrived for over 50 years because we like what we do, even when the work is demanding. It’s that simple.

Our Process

Our project stages are time-tested and ensure we deliver the best work possible.

  • Contract timeline and workload analysis
  • Contractor and Design vetting
  • Estimations and production development

We instituted this process based on an old business adage; “sometimes the most profitable jobs are the ones you don’t take.” If you’re already busy during the job’s scheduled period, you won’t be able to give it the required attention. And if the design is not completed adequately, you’ll spend too much time working its questions to bring it to sufficiency.

Once a project is awarded, our production engineers and designers work closely with architects and general contractors to translate the design drawings & specifications into submittal drawings and digital fabrication coding.

Utilizing

  • AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Fusion 360 detailing
  • Shop drawing submittal and approval
  • Material Submittals
  • Coordination with project schedule and phasing

We adopted AutoCAD in 1988 and 3D modeling in 1991 — earlier than most in our industry — and that head start in digital precision still shows in everything we produce.

Our Portland shop floor is where old-world craft meets state of the art production means & methods. Every component is fabricated in-house under the same roof, giving us complete control over quality at every step.

  • Solid surface and countertop fabrication
  • Cabinet and casework production
  • Custom millwork and molding runs
  • Doors – Frames & hardware
  • Finishing in our 7,500 sq ft dual-booth spray room

Our union-affiliated installation crews treat the job site with the same safety and discipline as the shop floor. We coordinate directly with general contractors and project managers to ensure delivery, sequencing, and installation to meet schedules without surprises.

  • Site coordination and logistics
  • Delivery and staging management
  • Precision installation by skilled union carpenters
  • Punch list and closeout

From concept to installation, we ensure every detail aligns with the architect’s design and the general contractor’s schedule.
