Custom Wood Wall Paneling, Feature Millwork, Bar & Service Casework, Privacy Booth Joinery

When Alaska Airlines set out to double the size of its Portland lounge, the brief was simple to say and hard to do: make a 14,000-square-foot airport room feel like the Pacific Northwest itself. That meant wood—warm, honest, and built to take the punishment of one of the busiest premium spaces on the West Coast. We don’t make furniture for showrooms; we make it for the long haul, and a lounge that runs from before dawn to late at night is exactly the kind of place where craft has to survive contact with the real world.

Faustrollean’s touch is everywhere—the paneling and millwork that ties the room to PDX’s new timber roof, the casework behind the bar and food service, the beautiful waved walnut service desk, etc. Working to a demanding schedule alongside a high-profile build, our team delivered work that looks effortless and was anything but. That’s the part guests never see, and the part we’re proudest of.
