Faustrollean was engaged for its abilities to execute this extremely complex entry and stairway, millwork assembly. We captured the enclosure with a laser, resulting in a data-heavy file. Useless! We then switched to a basic survey method to capture the two-story area. We then inserted our 3D Solid Model into the virtual space. After breaking the model into elements, we engineered its structural components and cut its parts on a CNC Router. We assembled the structure onsite and applied pre-finished millwork over the structural assembly. A mix of old school surveying, 3D modeling and informed design decoding, engineering, and master millwork assembly onsite.
